In 2025, the Municipality of Lindesberg undertook an extensive effort to formulate a new long-term vision for the municipality, along with a set of shared core values for the organization. Four PR was contracted to lead and structure the process, from analysis and dialogue to the formulation of the vision and core values. <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Background<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The municipality\u2019s previous vision was nearing the end of its term, and both political leaders and the civil service called for a new, shared, cross-party direction for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal was to develop a vision that would both chart a clear course toward 2040 and foster pride, engagement, and a shared narrative about the municipality as a place. At the same time, there was a need for a clear set of core values for the organization\u2014ones that could guide how the municipality works to achieve the vision in its day-to-day operations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strategy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The work was based on a broad dialogue process that involved residents, the business community, civic organizations, politicians, and the municipal administration. The goal was to create a vision rooted in people\u2019s experiences of the municipality while also providing an inspiring direction for the future. Work on core values was carried out in parallel to ensure that the organization\u2019s culture and working methods support the vision\u2019s goals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
