PR Launch | To put a bike in the hands of new audiences |Husqvarna Motorcycles

In 2017 Four PR were assigned to run PR and event support for Husqvarna Motorcycles Scandinavia launch of the new motorcycle models VITPILEN 401, SVARTPILEN 401 and VITPILEN 701.

The first VITPILEN and SVARTPILEN were shown at EICMA (Europe’s largest motorcycle fair) in 2014, where Husqvarna Motorcycles set its vision of the future road motorcycle. Advanced technology meets authentic, clean design to deliver a modern city driving experience.

November 30, 2017, a launch event for the new country road motorcycles was held. Four PR were PR partners prior to launch and were commissioned to analyze and develop relevant media and influences into one new Husqvarna Motorcycle new target group. In addition to running PR for the launch, Four PR also took a more operative role in event production and production management for the launch event held at the Fotografiska museet in Stockholm. After the event, Four PR were responsible for the follow-up and monitoring of press and social media.

The aim of the PR efforts was to bring relevant people to the launch event and get media exposure for the newly launched products and spread in relevant social channels. The number of guests at the launch event was over expectations and the launch was described in both industry media and lifestyle magazines and also had a major impact on social media.
